Thanks for your feedback and sorry for t...Hi Dami,
Thanks for your feedback and sorry for the late answer. Here is the drill: While we understand how interesting it could be to have the preview show the whole book, there are technical hurdles that come into play. It's no so much the load on the servers as the time this would all take. Generating an average size book completely (say around 300 pages or so), as soon as it's a bit complex (depending on the content) takes at least an hour, and of course that time goes up for bigger and more complex books. As such, a full preview would make the experience of actually making a book rather longwinded for the average user, an hour is just too much time to wait for your book.

At this stage, we are not planning to offer full preview, although the ability to make sure that one's book is "working" is something we are keeping in mind and will integrate in the development of our user interface.Delphinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14998206136683878764noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31198955.post-19947121061561133372010-08-31T20:40:44.290+02:002010-08-31T20:40:44.290+02:00The new preview is pretty slick, yet I would still...The new preview is pretty slick, yet I would still think that the number one feature request for it that I hear many times would be the ability to preview the whole book.

Otherwise, if one really wants to check that every article works, he hast to submit every article as a separate book. (The overall load on the servers and the clutter in the saved "Your books" section on the site might be bigger than the cost of generating the previews – especially if the later pages are only rendered on request.)Damihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08880421856051509610noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31198955.post-33843421176249488032010-06-16T17:36:06.105+02:002010-06-16T17:36:06.105+02:00Hi rihatum. Two proposals, anyway:

Naturally the possibility to have color pictures in the books would be awesome!

Also when just quickly testing the service, I noticed that from articles of places (countries, cities etc) you include the fact tables to the begging of the article. I think that in a case of a book it would be better to start with the descriptive text and add the fact tables only to the end of the article.

Good luck with your project – I will do some orders, soon.

- Teemu L.Teemu Leinonenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02233005062709021734noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31198955.post-5977839164812431522010-02-10T23:25:36.447+01:002010-02-10T23:25:36.447+01:00Link repaired!
